If you don't feel like shifting 1-2nd when it drops below 80F, it's the perfect gear oil for you.

Default Redline does not meet the GL4/5 requirement for our transmissions. MT-90 is generally considered

too thick for cold shifting and most people blend it with MTL, lowering its overall viscosity. Still a GL-4 fluid though, and not sufficient for our transmissions.

Default Talked to service advisor and shop foreman about it, and both felt

that although it was unlikely any harm would come from it, the stock stuff is already as good if not better.

Default Been using straight MT90 in these transmissions fora long time

no problems at all ever... These transmissions are essentially the same with some minor diff changes what came in the TT back in 00 to current and lots of people run the MT90 in them.

I've gone back and forth though between the factory stuff and mt90 and seen no difference good or bad. I wouldn't waste my money changing it out, but I wouldn't spend the extra money on the dealer stuff if I had my trans drained for something else.
