Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would like to help me and any others in the same situation, being, starting to tune the car itself...
My first move was to get some wider tires (19" with a 35mm profile and a 235 width, about as big as it can go, without changing suspension) and this was certainly an eye opener... the grip i am getting now is amazing, i simply can't explain it, very nice balance between over and understeer... any commments on this?
(kumho ectsa spt tyres)
secondly, i am going for an exhaust... I have commonly heard that milltek are a great choice for the audis, again, any comments would be greatly appreciated...
thirdly, an induction kit... going for a BMC C&D induction kit, technically, not street legal, but a very high performance filter from what ive heard... please correct me if you know better, i am relatively new to audis...
fourthly, was thinking brakes, dont know what to go for here, apart from the obvious brembo red or greenstuff, help is greatly needed in this area...
Finally, these steps are all taken with an intention to chip the car, probalby with revotechnik, produciing what seems to be the highest bhp/torque without changing turbos or intercoolers...
This is just what i would logically do, if anyone know better, pleaase tell me...
final bhp should be around 210-220 (hopefully) with torque at about 240-250... very rough estimations...
Thanks for taking the time to read, and, if you posted a reply, thanks again...
P.S. does anyone happen to know for sure if the fact that i dont have an esp/asl switch means that i dont have asl (lets hope so, i would hate to have it and not be able to turn it off!!!!)
P.P.S.
front strut bar, lower or upper or both, or neither???
thanks
Jolly
