Help - Corrosion & Replacement Sill

I have an A3 (8p) 3 door on a 2004 that has suffered some serious corrosion to the drivers side sill section.
The corrosion is along the complete sill and patching the sill isn't going to be an option.
The only sill repair section i can find online is for an Audi A3 8L.
Would anyone be able to offer any advice to locate a sill or would any member be bale to measure the sill length on there 3 door Audi 8L so i can check the dimensions.
Really appreciate some advice, the car has been passed down by my father so i dont really want to scrap the vehicle.
