Help delete the front plate

CT once had no front license plate required... but they changed their tune.
Seems to me that the "advantage" of being able to identify a car from the front is so seldom exercised (most people are pulled over or image captured from behind), that the savings of not having to create twice the number of metal license plates is far more cost effective. What the heck is wrong with these state governments? Resistance to ANY change, even if it makes sense?

The 11-99 plate frame has a checkered past, but the story is that it'll help keep tickets away here in California. Google's got the details.
