Hello all,
just bought a 2009 A3 & getting confused. Seems previous owner may have fitted the Audi Navigation Plus RNS-E? stereo. It has a dash mounted mobile telephone dock thingy with a rectangular grid of tiny gold connector pads. There’s nothing in glovebox, no USB or AMI, just a 3.5mm Aux jack socket in intersect console.

How can I connect an iPhone 6 for ands free telephone & playing my audio books? I could try connecting headphones from iPhone to the Aux socket, but that won’t help with telephony; does stereo have Bluetooth even??

When i got mine, the P.O. had a module installed that gave the car Bluetooth functionality and kept the steering controls active. However, it did mess with the Satellite radio. Im not using it anymore if you want to make an offer.
