off. Then they mellow out and go with the amount of moisture and rain. But what settings do you use for drizzle?

The sensitivity is set by the intermittent interval switch in the stalk.

Default Yeah but how come when I first put it on the sensitivity doesn't change the speed?

I roll up and down with the sensitivity switch and it doesn't change the speed. It has to be off to be ot slamming away. But then I put it on again and then it acts like it's supposed to. Also, the rear wiper has sensitivity, too, right?

Default you need to select one of the settings. slow, medium, whatever

and based on that, and your vehicle speed, it's automatically controled.

Default As far as I know, the rear wiper has just one setting/speed.

I've never experienced problems with the front wipers. I have found that haviing the dial at the lowest setting usually works fine and that the amount of rain hitting the windshield ultimately affects the wiper interval.

Is it possible that windshield area over the rain sensor is somehow covered?(ie. with crusted bird poop or tree sap)

Default Do you mean Tuesday night?? Car was covered in ice yesterday morning.

Nothing was really sticking to the roads.

One advantage to the OpenSky roof is that you can run an ice scraper across it without any worries.

Default yes tuesday

I haven't put an ice scraper to my car except the main windows. I think the open sky would scratch, especially the very last piece in the rear, with the antenna on it.

ice was so bad on tues night, here. it was the worst dog-walking night evvaarr.

I didn't touch the rear-most panel; which is just painted sheet metal.

Yes, key point, it works in conjunction with vehicle speed.
