How many miles on a new delivery A3?
Hi,
Anyone knows what's the average mileage of a new delivery A3 should have from Ingolstadt to the port of San Diego and then to a dealer in Bay Area?

Apparently they randomly pull cars from the line and inspect them in Ingolstadt...
... My father's A3 came with a note saying it was pulled and driven as part of a random inspection before it was shipped. It added a 20-30 KMs onto it, IIRC...

Yeah, 7 is pretty much the minimum. I've seen as high as 80 if the EPA pulls a car for testing.
Although rare, it also adds weeks to the delivery time of a car :-(
By the time the techs do the PDI and give it a short test spin, most cars have around 11 to 20 miles.
