With the bi-colored alloy rims on the Sport package, the brake dust is barely noticeable or at least compared to my other cars. I love these rims!!

And with grayed sides on the spokes!
The problem is the dust still accumulates on the inside of the wheels, behind the spokes, and would be a PITA to clean. How's braking in the rain/wet, still same fade/grab kind of stuff?

I actually cleaned the rims yesterday and it only required a light cleaning using a terry cloth! Compared to my Touareg these rims are a breeze. The darker gray portion of the sport rims makes a huge difference regarding the frequency of having to clean them in my case.

Living in sunny SoCal I wouldn't have a clue about the braking performance in rain! :-) But now that I've said that my weekend will probably be ruined.

of most of the water. Works well. I've done several drives in light to medium rain and have no issues.
Wax the wheels when you wax the car, to make cleaning easier.
I just yank off the wheels every now and then, and use a powerwasher to blast the insides clean.

cool stuff

I used Meguiras Hot Rims, does a nice job, now I'm on Sonos, for cleaning. I'll start using 303 Aero for protection as well, works great on tires so it's easy to apply at the same time.
I didn't graduate yet to polish+waxing, still takes me like 3 hours just to wash it!
