I wonder when Audi UK will have price and spec information, and what the earliest delivery date is.

Autobild.de says that the car will be formally released at the Gent motorshow, with prices, and Audi will be taking orders from March for delivery in May. But this could just be the German market. RHD/UK always plays second fiddle.

A3 Avant? Current 5 door isn't an Avant is it? I'd consider any 3.2L A3/Allroad Compact! :-)

Current is a 3+2 - proper 5-door hatch. But the new 5 door version will be an Avant - sort of Peugeot 206 SW-ish; not quite an estate, but almost one.

I hope Audi makes an A4 Coupe one day. The new A3 design is nice but the rear end is kinda boring to me.

A small wheel base 3.2L Avant is a great idea. I imagine it will be similar to the VW Jetta Wagon, but hopefully the rear end is less square retaining the more sportier Avant look.

I'm still interested in a 3.2L DSG A3 Allroad. Short wheel base. Powerful engine. Lots of fun.
