I want an A3 but the lease is terrible. It's like AoA is forcing me to get an A4 Avant Is anyone?

Leasecompare.com doesn't have good lease rates on the A3 either. The prevailing wisdom is if you want to lease, you're better off leasing an A4 since you get more car for the same lease payment. If you are buying, then the A3 is a viable option.
In our case, the A3 was bought and the A4 is leased.
IMHO, if Audi could come up with halfway decent lease rates on the A3, they'd move more of them. I think the GTI also suffers from poor lease rates, though not sure about that.

If I buy an A3 I am going to try to find a used 06 3.2 because the AoA interest rates on certified cars are pretty good right now. I don't know....I really like the lease payment on the A4 though.
