For those who were wondering if it was worth getting an extended warranty...
My car is almost at 60K miles and the rear sunshade latch broke. Took it into the dealer and the total cost for parts and labor was over $200!
When the service advisor called the claims department, they were told that it was not going to be covered because they said that it was a "trim" piece. So, I emailed Warranty Direct and told them that it was not merely a trim piece, but a functional piece because without it, the rear of the car would be constantly exposed to sunlight, causing accelerated wearing of the rear leather seats.
The claims department emailed me back that they would cover it and to fax them the invoice so that they would cut me a check.
FWIW, the service advisor at the dealer was surprised that they denied it to begin with because he said that he works with Warranty Direct a lot and that they are very good. So, they put my Warranty Direct information in the system at the dealer so for future repairs, they know to call them.
YMMV.

But I'm very relieved to find out that it isn't going to be a problem to use with my dealer. The car has been running great, but you just never know....

I believe it was around $1900 or so. I think it would have been less with a deductible, but I didn't want any money out of my pocket in the event of a repair.
