G'Day Herbie,
Have read all the goings on on this site and the stuff brought over from the other site.
As far as G-Chips is concerned I can say that I am a very happy customer.
Wanted a chip for my A41.8TQ Avant but had a realy bad experience with an Oz company that chiped my old A4 1.8 normaly aspirated. The original chip gave better results on a dyno than the performance??? chip.
Told Lucas that I would not pay until I had seen the two chips back to back on a dyno. CAA had a dyno day a few weeks back where we put some 15 cars on a machine. Did my car with standard chip which gave approx 112Kw then immediately changed chip and showed around 122Kw. This would work out at about 152Kw taking into account correction to Dyno. Not a bad gain. I know a couple of other guys that have had their cars chiped by G-Chips who are aso very happy.
How many performance chip dealers offer a money back guarantee or, as with myself and two other customers of his I know, would let you drive off and pay a week later if you're happy. Not many at a guess.
With the first chip I bought the bstds asked me for $150 Aus per h to custom tune after I complained and showed them the Dyno charts.
If anyone wants to know the name of the Dodgy Brothers that ripped me off on the chip for my orinal chip just think Aus company power and chip.

Lucas has experimented with stuff you haven't even thought of in your wildest dreams...he has practical knowledge of Audis...trust me...and he knows Garrett Lim just fine.
And better yet...he is the spitting image of Michael Myers (Austin Powers baby!)
Hey Lucas...didn't you replace the wifes' A3?
