Mex-Racer

Hey, I just got my 2001 A3 1.8T, I live in mexico, but this car was built in germany.
The car is Awesome! compared to the previous cars ive owned this is the BEST car!!!

I have a question, when i press lock on the remote, the car makes a crappy "beep" have any of you guys changed the alarm horn to a siren or to a different horn? If any of you have, what are the steps?
Any help will be appreciated, thanks!<p>2001 A3 1.8T

You need the VAG tool to disable the beep - if you can get to your dealer they should do it for you. If not get hold of the tool and check the FAQ section.

Es cierto que es un excelente auto. Con lo de la alarma ni idea de como cambiarlo me imagino que en la agencia te pueden decir.

Hi there,
Audi introduced radio symphony w/ bose to A3 with model year 2001;
so one has a choice now bw this and radio concert w/ bose.
I'd like to find out what the exact differences are in order to make a
healthy choice since my dealer isn't able to provide me w/ exact specs.
