Default Just test drove the A3 2.0T DSG at Princeton Audi.. a few comments

The car is absolutely great! So great that I am willing to almost forget all about the A4 and buy the A3 instead.

I just ran into a few snags.

1) What's the deal with the Open Sky sunroof? does it not open fully in the front, in the brochore it looks as though it does. In person the glass was nowhere close to opening fully, had a good 4" still hanging.

2) They can't locate one the way I want in all of US so I'd have to settle on something else. No pricing yet for 2007 so I don't want to risk ordering one

A3 2.0T DSG
Ocean Blue Pearl
Sports package (w/ All seasons & Bi-color wheels)
Navigation/Bose
Open Sky
Convenience Package
Bluetooth/Sirus
---- (things to have but not necessary)
Bi-Xenon/Xenon

No way do I want the 3.2, love the turbo too much.

Any suggestions? Anyone spot one like this?

The sunroof stops opening at some point, but you let go of the button and press it again and it will open a little bit farther.

Default the sunroof has 3 settings: tap once to vent, tap again to open to "comfort" setting for wind noise,

hold "open" button to retract the rest of the way. even at that point it only opens about 90% becuase it retracts outside of the car, not into the roof where it would be able to fully open.

There was one exactly like that at Desert Audi last week. I almost bought it. Call them.

Default I tried that and it still only went about 90%, it really looks awkward and unattractive.

I'm dissappointed.

Buy a car w/o a rear sunroof and a front sunroof that retracts into the roof to resolve this issue

Default Does yours look like this? If so I am happy. The one at the dealership was a few inches off

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/95012/a3sportback10.jpg"></center><p>It looked ugly because it was half open in front and half open covered in back.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I love Audi's too much. Either way I will suck it up and buy it.
