Default can I get a what what!

opinions...

use paragraphs please

revo and apr offer the best tuning. see who's closest to you. I am running revo stage2 with dsg.

I love rowing. But I like to text message, play with the stereo, relax in traffic; so I went with dsg. I am 100% satisfied with my decision. Just hit 30k miles. However, a handful of dsg owners who liked the technology and it's benefits... still decided to trade the car in and go back to the manual. And that sucks b/c the resale value of the A3 is not good.

Stereo. Before I bought my car, I was not intending on gutting the stereo. I STILL decided to get the base pkg. I just wasn't impressed with the bose system. And I'm really into music. Eventually I replaced every part of the audio system in my car.

S-Line. It wasn't avail when I purchased my car. I would have done ANYTHING possible to get it, if it were. The front bumper is SOOO much cleaner and aggressive looking. The seats, etc etc.

I have a lava car. It looks great when clean, but I regret getting this color. Not enough of a contrast between the lava color and the open sky. I'd want a lighter gray, but darker than silver, which doesn't exist. White looks hot with open sky. Ocean blue is cool.

Tidbits... Nav is cool but pricey. Xenons are a great value IMO, and VERY difficult to add later. Sucks you can't get the homelink system anymore. Love open sky. You're right about gas. I get about 250-300 miles per tank. Fill up once a week. Unless I'm on a trip, I get 300-325 per tank. Sometimes more. DON'T get the P6 tires.

First mods: rear sway bar, mandatory my friend. Chip. GLI pedal kit and deadpedal. Tint, with open sky your interior will be very hot. Tint helps, even though not many people actually tint the open sky. Tires?

Hitch a ride, train, anything you can... drive that car home yourself. Good luck and as others have said, welcome to A3 land.

I was going to suggest the same; 280 miles won't take long

Default The "S$" in your post - a typo, or indicative of how much the car costs to own?

Most likely it's a typo, but an interesting one. How bad was the fuel economy in your S4?

My site has a Fuel Economy Survey. Just a few responses so far from S4 owners, but they appear to indicate about 16 in mixed driving and low 20s highway.

Au di A4 and S4 fuel economy
