the bumper. In like manner as the tow hook cover. You know it's there as it has a cut out, but since it's the same color as the car, it not noticable unless you specifically look for it.
The vinyl this thin enough that the parking lights remain functional.

My guess is that any thin clear vinyl will work. Cover the lens, paint it with your color match, then cover that with another piece of clear vinyl.
That's the only way I can think of a way to do this with other colors.
