I had my camera w me. there was a cop sitting right there. wrote it up. the side wall of my tire split top to bottom, the wheel bent, my alignment was thrown out ~ $500 damage. So I filed a claim w the city of Phila. the hole is on Germantown ave in Chestnut Hill. 6 months later, I get a letter from the city telling me that GTown Ave is a state highway; so guess who I'm fighting w now?
I WILL get that $$. Or so I say ;-)

Most of my bent wheels have been random potholes on the highway . . . hitting those @ 60mph+ sucks.

So far, the OE ronals have been pretty darn durable. I'm a fan . . .
