I am looking into getting the A3 around Sept 2009. Is the new year model usually released in Sept?

Got my new 2009 back in late August.

The cars themselves show up on the dealer floor late summer/fall. For example, the 2009 A3 order guides should have been available in April of 2008, with delivery around the fall. The official order guides for the 2009 MY A3 were delayed this year, however. My understanding was Audi was too overwhelmed with the launch of the A5 from the previous year, and subsequently the B8 A4 and tied up production lines.

The dealer had two new 2009 A3s delivered on the lot. I'm on the west coast, I don't know if the the schedule would be regional.

Bought my 2008 A3 in Nov 07. The 2009 A3s are out, and have been for at least 2-3 months.
