looking for installing a glove box 6 CD changer
what CD brand options??? dealer claims 2 hours work?x90$
can this been done by a couple tech nerds ?? from fry's electronics

Are you looking to install the Audi changer??
No big deal--
1. Remove trim piece from upper left of glovebox.
2. Locate CD changer cable behind trim piece.
3. Plug into CD Changer
4. Push CD changer into position.

I agree--I swapped out my CD changer for a PhatBox.....
It's great if you already have your music ripped to MP3s....also since the CD changer doesn't play MP3 CDs. But be sure to get the VW version--it has the right cable. The Audi version cable won't work.

Doesn't the lesser sound quality bother you guys?
Whenever I make audio CDs from MP3s on my 'puter and then play them in the car CD player, the lack of highs and lows is really obvious to me. Does anybody notice that with PhatNoise?
