I have Yoko W4S and like their performance, especially in the rain, but if you want QUIET, the Falken Azenis ST-115 is specifically designed to run quiet over the life of the tire. I put a set of these on a highly modded BMW 3-Series to make it tolerable to drive on the street and they worked like a dream. Also like the rim protector feature.

Not available from Tire Rack, but Discount Tire has no problem getting them. Relatively inexpensive, too: 225/45-17s are $116 @ Tire.com

Default I did get the APR Exhaust. Maybe I'm getting old but still a little loud...felt pretty quick to me..

WITHOUT before but there is, no doubt, some MAJOR kick in the *** now...mucho fun when I shift down on the freeway to pas!

Default I have to disagree. Just got done with a set. Worst Z-rated tires I've owned, but cheap.

The Toyo's would squeal at almost every aggressive turn. They had grip like an all-season tire. Very bad.

Just got a set of Conti 3's. Love them. Much better than Conti 2's. Awesome grip, and very light.

Default You got the stealth, right? That is the quiter of the two (sport/stealth) but I've noticed it's..

not so much loud but it can drone a tad at certain RPMs. After it warms and you cruise it's not too bad. Plus, you get used to it. You DO feel a differnce in power, though, right? I thought it was fairly HUGE. How does your exhaust hang? I mean, is it nice and staright and are the tips straight? Are they out enough past the valence to see the "APR" etching clearly? Who did the install?

Default Yep. I got Stealth. I can't imagine the non stealth!...

The install was VERY good. No rattles or hanging problems I have noticed at all. The view from the rear is sweet and aggressive. You can see the APR on the tips sticking out. There is a NICE power increase. When I kick it down (I've got DSG) on the freeway it's insane!). It was just so quiet and "subtle" before is why I'm not 100% sold on the addition. Sometimes I feel like I just added it "because it was there" when I was very happy with performance before.

Default If you think the APR is loud you would have HATED the GHL. WAY louder and almost ricey..

very dron-y. I mean, this is a 4 cyl, not a V8 so a loud, open exhaust doesn't sound real rich and deep and burbly...just loud and blaaaaahhhh. The power increase a definite plus, though. Get the APR fuel pump for another 20-30 hp! Easy install and free software upgrade.
