Has anyone purchased Audi's molded trunk mat (from the AudiUSA website)? I orderd some piece of crap off of eBay which is crummy material and doesn't fit anyway. The one on the AudiUSA page says "2007". Has anyone had any luck with their 2007?

or try Carbox. My mat is a carpet mat w a rubber backing. very classy, IMO. THICK, but obviously, does not have the sides. Carbox does, and is a great product.

Carbox II

What a P.O.S.! The one I ordered looks different than the $80.00 unit listed on the AofA website. Mine is molded and made out of a stiff, rubbery material. Also, made in Italy and fits like ****! Maybe they discontinued this POS and are now carrying the one listed on the site, which also looks like the mat that I purchased for our TT and was pleased with. Good luck.

I love mine. I used to have a WeatherTech mat in my GTI with a lip around the edge. It was great, but if something spilled it still went all over the mat.
The hexomat traps any dirt/liquid in the individual dimples, which keeps it pretty contained to a smaller area. Having used both, I prefer this one now.

As for the Audi-branded liners....
The A3 (non-quattro) in Europe has a slightly different shape to the cargo area than the A3 quattro models. Here, both the 2.0T and the 3.2Q have the same shape to the cargo area. Audi originally brought in the cargo liner with the part number ending in -180, which is for the Euro non-quattro models. That's why it doesn't fit right. You have to get the one with the part number ending in -181 for the US A3s.

http://oooo-a3.blogspot.com/2005/11/hexomat-cargo-liner.html</a

If you turn up the heat and especially set to use the foot vents, do your mats start to smell?
Reason I ask is because i bought a cheap set for the wife's suv couple weeks ago and it smells everytime the foot vents are opened. I'm pretty sure the heat is causing the mat to outgass, so that kinda sucks.
I would hate to have the same problem in my own car.
TIA
