Default My coworker's A3 a/c died after bringing the car in for issues of the car not starting...

He picked it up yesterday from the dealer, and they said the reason the car may have died on him last wk.....was prob due to bad gas. They tuned it up, changed fluids and sent him on his way. This morning he noticed the A/C wasn't working.....what are some potential probs? TIA.

Default Read all of these links.....

All chapters of my A/C saga are at this URL. Read all of it (start from the bottom and work up). (link goes to the whole story on one page, since I tagged them with the same label on my blog).

Hmm, sounds like it might be a good idea to carry a spare, shorter belt that can be used to bypass the seized compressor. (Assuming there's a path that will still run the water pump and alternator, but not the compressor.)

(No issues yet on my 3.2, but then, I don't use the A/C unless it's absolutely necessary)
