and don't beat yourself up about not knowing what the SSK is about. I feel this is what this forum should be for both novice and pros...sharing DIY mods and such.

Like I told Dave aka Crew, there is limited area if you don't remove stock air intake. This pic shows the SSK underneath my Carbonio CAI. The spring assy mechanism is attached over the pin of the SSK.

This pic here shows a little more of the SSK. Just below the spring assy mechanism, the spline (female) part of the SSk is aligned with the (male) spline coming from the transmission.

You'll have to use my original pic of the uninstalled SSK to get a complete picture of these set of pics...I hope this helps plus if you choose Neuspeed SSK, they have very good DIY instructions.

and please let me know how you make out with your new ssk. I understand the short throw but how smooth is it gear to gear? Worth the $$? Thanx again.
