Well my birthday is coming up and I'm thinking of treating myself to the multimedia adapter for the Nav and with the Canadain dollar doing so well; now's my chance.
I found this product but haven't really heard any first hand experience about it on navplus.us:
http://www.navparts.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=169
The most common one that everyone talks about is the Deitz products. The 1417 and 1280.
Anyone have any suggestions, recomendations or first hand experience with either of these two products?
Thanks
Jack

Are you talking about the RNS-E?
If so, it has worked wonderfully for me. And nothing beats the OEM look IMO.
Yes there are cheaper alternatives out there, but it doesn't look half as good. Plus you also get MP3 ability through 2 SD card slots.
If you do decide to go with them, do keep us updated, I'm interested in retrofitting one myself.

So he can hook up a dvd player, backup camera, ps2, and karaoke? No experience with the dietz products, but I would love to add on a stealth backup camera.
