Default Need help in switching APR

I would like to change my settings from APR to stock but am not sure how to do it. Could someone explain the steps to me? I understand you do it with the speed control stalk but I am doing something wrong.

Thanks for your help

Default This should help

(this is assuming you have the 2 program chip and don't have security lock out)
1. turn key to "ON" but not all the way to start

2. Make sure cruise control stalk is in the on position and hold down the "set" button until the check engine light starts to flash. Wait until it starts flashing once every second (typically stock is prog #1) and release the set button.

3. Turn the key to off and leave it there for 10 seconds, turn back to on but not start for 12 seconds then start the car.

Hope this helps!

Yea!!!!! Thanks. I think I will leave it stock until I get a few more miles on it. I have been driving it a little hard (1300+ miles) and if I do not take it easy I will end up with some tickets. Need a little more seat time so I can compinsate for the tourqe steer with the APR activated. That is why I will be first in line when they they bring the 2.0T quattro to our shores.

If you have lockout you need to turn the ignition to on but don't start the engine. start by pressing down on the cruse stalk to clear the code entry. Push up as many times as the first number of your code and then down once. repeat for every number in the code. Lastley, push down to end the entries. Your ESP and MIL should alternatly flash telling you that the APR system is unlocked.
