Need max performance tires. Suggestions?
I've narrowed it down to the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's and Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. Or are the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's worth the extra money?

Just got the Michelin PS2's put on last week...
The best road tire I've ever had on a car. I've done everything in the past from the Potenza's to the Pirelli Rosso's. It's an outstanding tire and worth every penny.
Plus, Costco stocks it, and you can get $60 off a set if you buy now!

I have RE950As on our BMW, and ran Azenis RT615 on my modded Miata.
The Bridgestones Potenza is a great tire for that time when you decide to push it, you know the tires are up to it.
The Azenis are for when you know you will push the car at least once coming and going to work. Example: My fav. cloverleave in the Miata, I would take in 2nd gear EXPECTING to step the tail out since I had set the car to do that in the turn. Or occasionally, I'd beat the snot out of it going up Del Puerto Cny, and knew the tires were more than up to it. I also a/x'd the Azenis.
