Navi has very bright screen too. Can see very clearly, even in direct sunlight. Nice.

are you using an ipod in your setup? is the navi screen us the display when connected to mp3 player?

Default SD means San Disk.
It is the brand of the cards.
Same used for digital cameras. They are the small ones.
I use itunes to put songs on them.
Up to 2GB cards will work.
There are 2 slots in the Nav to put them. It really works great.

Default or "Secure Digital" -- type of memory cards, sandisk being one of the companies making SD cards

I don't believe itunes AAC formatted songs will work on there.
