Yeah, that's their latest timing on adding the S series to the US. It would be nice to have by next Fall, but I have plenty of time between my B8 A4 and the next car. My wife gets a new car later this year

Timing wise, it'll work out for probably the second yr of S3 sedans in US. Plus that should be enough time for some mods to be out. Not looking for a lot, just a Milltek exhaust, HFC, tint and probably some ECodes.

As soon as I heard about the new sedan version of the A3/S3/RS3 I started saving my money. Hopefully we do get the RS3, that will be my next car without a doubt. I have always loved the inline 5 ever since the old school S6. The only deal breaker I can see with this car (for me) is the DSG only trans. There will be no more mods to my B6 S4, the only thing on my mind now is RS3.

I'm still hoping against hope we get a Manual Trans. I'll settle for a DSG if I have to, but if I can order an MT - it's on! Might even go European Delivery this time

More recent intel we’ve heard is that the S3 is go for America, though it will skip the 3-door bodystyle seen here in favor of the more US consumer-friendly sedan. A Sportback is also expected to be offered in Europe though its future in the US remains to be seen and is (at the very least) tied to the Sportback’s own chances Stateside.

Later, with the launch of the five-door Sportback, a new 2.0-liter TFSI gas engine joins the group in the next S3, and an ultra-efficient 1.6-liter TDI. In the future, the 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder will go into an RS3, which the U.S. should eventually get in the four-door body.

Besides that distant RS3, the U.S. will start out in later 2013 with both the 1.8- and 2.0-liter TFSI powerplants, which have been made lighter and more efficient than they are today.

It's very fast audi S3 chiped 280bhp oversized move it porsche brakes, cat back stainless milltec power flow exhaust. full recaro leather, all extras 4 new tyres, very clean car
