Default New to the forum!

I got this car for my wife about 6 months ago and finally had a chance to take some pics. It's a 2007 A3 2.0T S-line with DSG in Misano Red. It's completely stock except the hardwired V1.

I'm really impressed with the 2.0T engine. It feels plenty quick for 200hp (must be the flat torque curve) and it goes perfectly well with the DSG.

My only complaint is the see-thru sunshade. To tell you the truth, I didn't even want the sunroof. I just got the option because I like the black/red two-tone look on the car. It looks like I have a carbon fibre roof

Default Welcome . . . I feel the same about the Open Sky

I wish I did not have it now and if the 2.0T quattro ever comes out, I will not get the Open Sky Again.

Default for the weight savings and the cost you may have just custom painted the roof

I like my open sky. Maybe its because I live in New England and you rarely need AC in the car so having some fresh air come in is good enough to cool it off.

Wish it didnt weigh so much but otherwise no complaints. (All sunroofs rattle)

Default Welcome to the family. I noticed the "s" hook on the...

..."oh ****" handle. I just got this and installed it for my coat so it wouldn't wrinkle during my commute. It is off an A8, but it fits universal style on any VW/Audi. Works great and looks OEM as it should. I will say I did not notice any increase in torque or HP's after adding it though. <ul><li><a href="http://oempl.us/advanced_search_result.php?osCsid=ef8d5d828fb097c9 8447f6da5b28e427&amp;keywords=coat&amp;osCsid=ef8d 5d828fb097c98447f6da5b28e427&amp;x=0&amp;y=0">http ://oempl.us/advanced_search_result.php?osCsid=ef8d5d828fb097c9 8447f

How many miles did it take for yours to start rattling? I'm at 7.5k and no rattles yet

Default So she drives the A3 and you've got the Z4 eh? ;-)

Welcome to the club. Are you in LA/SD area?

The good thing about the shade is that it's see-through one way. So if someone's looking down on you from a truck or a building, they can't make anything out.

If you're having a heat problem, put the sunroof in vent position before shutting off the engine. The sunshade acts as a filter, keeping debris from falling in and letting heat rise out.
