Cept, if you have a cat who is inclined to walking on your car, be sure to close the sun roof all
the way. I left sunroof open with the sunshade closed, and the next am, as I went out to the car, I saw kitty prints on the roof, over the sun shade and down my windshield.....grrr.

AbTTA3, the coathanger/rack sits out 3 inches back from the headrest.
It is 16 inches long, and protrudes out just under 3 inches to either side of the headrest. I've had it on for about 2 weeks, and have not even noticed the hanger in my peripheral vision or in my rearview mirror. It worked out pretty damn good honestly.

4K miles but 'rattle' is relative
Its not a loud rattle or anything its just a noticable sound. My two previous A4's all have a rattle in the regular sunroof. I hear rattles from the windshield shifting or from the seat squeaking over bumps in the B7 Avant. Or the tire pressure gauge I have stoerd in the glove compartment, quarters in the center arm rest. Wifes metal buckle on her purse banging against its strap. I hear every little noise.
I tend to drive with very little in my car so I dont get annoyed by noises.
So its relative.
