Hi everyone Iam very new to this sort of thing
I own an A3 1.8T quattro In silver and live in the Manchester area. I am a member of CLUB AUDI and apart from a few niggles love my car.
The main niggle is the noisy door seals.
My dealer has fitted new seals which look no different to the old ones! and even sound the same
Any comments or advice welcome

Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I'm also based in the North West, about 13 miles from Manchester. It's good to see someone else on here who is not too far away.
Sorry to hear you've got the very common noisy door seal problem. Get your dealer to order some "Krytox" and apply it to the rubber door seals and rub it into the furry strip along the top of door. The part number is in one of my previous posts on this forum, just do a search for krytox.
Questions for you:
What's your first name?
What's CLUB AUDI like and is it worth joining?
Regards,
Alan

Peter,
I know the Bolton/Radcliffe area.
Sunday. Not sure if I'm doing anything, I might tag along to the meeting and see what the people are like, and the club in general.
Many other A3'ers going do you know?
Cheers,
Alan.
