I'm currently waiting for my new S3 to be delivered - before the end of November according to Aston Green Reading. I was informed by A.C.O. that there may not be any more "Experience" driving days on offer.

Has anyone else heard anything to substantiate this?

Do you mean the free Audi quattro driving experience you get with all S models. Or do you mean the one that you pay for?

The reason I ask is that this was going to be my 21st birthday present from my mum and dad

The girl at ACO said that they were proving to be too expensive and they were reviewing the "situation". I was only enquiring about the one that comes with S cars.

I wasn't aware that you could pay to go. I'm also surprised that Audi didn't mention it and give me the opportunity to pay for something that used to be all-inclusive like the head-to-boot Autochanger cable......

I phoned Audi after my dealer told me I could go on the course if I bought the car from him. As I ended up importing, I went on the course and paid £100 for the day. It was excellent value.

There were others there that did not own S models, including a Ford Fiesta driver who worked in an Audi dealership somewhere.

They don't run courses in the winter, so perhaps they haven't fixed next years schedule just yet. Try them on 01908 601559.
