No oil on my dipstick!?! (2.0T)
I check every two weeks and it has always been spot on, until this morning. Not even a drop on the stick. It took 2 quarts to make it happy. Anyone ever experience anything like this? Anyone have any insight as to potential damage? TIA.

depending on how many miles elapsed since the
last time you checked it, if you did 2qt in 2wks.........how many miles was that? all city?
I appear to be using ~ 1qt every 500 mi., maybe more....but we'll see. I'm on the clock now, I'm not going to touch it for 500mi, then the dealer will do some fancy testing.

fair number of people report having to add oil between changes...
when mine was young, I had to add a little > than a qt. all at once. I've talked to the service dept. several times, had them check for leaks, etc., because I still have to add a 1/2 qt. every now & then. It seems to be *normal* & I just keep a bottle of oil in the trunk at all times.
