Default Oil change on 2.0T

of the people out there doing their own oil changes do you all have the tool that lets you drain the oil filter housing? or are you just unscrewing it and letting the oil run down it into your oil catching device?

thanks

i have already previously read and saved that believe me but it uses the tool to drain the oil filter housing. if you dont purchase that what then happens you loosen the oil filter housing? The oil just runs down the side of it until it levels off?

Default A few people have stuck blunt objects and pushed the bleeder up . . .

Might want to try that. If you just unscrew the canister, I believe oil will come out the sides.

Its fairly easy. The tool is only $50 and it makes changing the oil a breeze.
