Default Only A3 at Mid-Ohio

Just back from the Mid-Ohio track outing. My first club event. What a great time. Great people, cars and track.

The A3 did well. A little rear-end shimmy under heavy braking just before turn 7. Other than that my 2.0 6sp was a good confidence builder.

Can't wait for the next event ... must find disposable income...

Default You were the lone A3, but you did your brethren proud. :)

Great job today; you were really hard to catch. ;-) If you're interested, I have some pics up here. They were taken by my girlfriend, so of course they're mostly my car. :-\ If you're ever around Huntington, WV, shoot me an email.

How full was your gas tank? My TT does the same thing when the tank is down to about 1/4 or so. With half a tank or more, there's not even a hint of a wiggle, regardless of the amount of braking.

What a time! Your TT has inspired me. Think about August 14th at Nelson Legdes. I hear it is a fun track. I'm calling in sick for sure that day.

Default Inspired?

I'm not sure how, since you seemed quite fast enough, but if you mean the mods and whatnot, that's a slippery slope. Be careful there LOL. At the tech inspection the guy asked how much money I had thrown into the car. I honestly answered, "I dunno." And I don't really wanna.

And I have to work on the 14th. My partner is working 7 days in a row for me so I could get this weekend off, so I think it'd be in my best interest to not ask for any trades for a while. I'll be checking the A3 forum for a report on the event, however.
