'Open Sky' roof question

I'll admit it, I don't like sun roofs. I keep the shade closed on my all the time. I'm interested in the B8 A4 Avant that only comes with the 'open sky' sun roof. I was wondering if somebody with an A3 'open sky' can tell me if it comes with a shade or not (since the new A4 isn't out yet).
Thanks

I drove in a 2008 A3 & A5 - they both had a cloth "shade". I have a 2009 A3 on order, and this is what it is supposed to have also. This is not a hard, opaque shade that you find in the "traditional" sunroofs.....I would describe it more as a thick, sheer curtain. It doesn't block the sun as well as the older shade (or the heat), but I think it's adequate for my needs. I like the fairly "open" feel that the Open Sky system affords. You may want to check them out on other models at your dealership before you order (this is what the A4 is supposed to have also).

On display at an Audi Media Event in SF. Avant had the same flimsy screen on its Opensky as the A3.
Both Avant and Sedan looked very good but the floating "R8" style LED's in the headlight assemblies look pretty ricey up close. not a fan. Also saw my first R8 driving around town over the weekend. LED's looked dumb on it as well but pretty forgiveable.
