SUVs ain't all that safe...
Especially for the OTHER car in the accident!
Actually, I had some qualms about safety with that big chunk of glass up there - That's yet another reason why I factory ordered my new A3 without the Sky Roof!

They aren't just dangerous to other cars, but also to themselves. Those beasts, besides being uncontrollably heavy, are also has the weight distribution of a spinning top, where they love to flip over and lie upside down, taking the driver along with it. A vast majority of deaths on the roads are rollover deaths.
Then you should be getting a car without windows, since all those panels are also glass, and much bigger.

I've had my A3 with the sky-roof since last summer and never noticed it got hotter then any other car I've owned. I don't have the rest of the windows tinted yet and I'd be more worried about having those match the sky-roof tint before I'd worry about tinting the roof even more. The rolling shade seems to do an alright job blocking sun to me and I'm not exactly a "sun person" either.
