Did you ask for a supervisor?
They may not be more knowledgeable, but they can hook you up with the good guy.
Or, ask for their email address, and then put the whole history down on 'paper' and ask for a comment by a supervisor.

Wrong. I am an ABS, and I identify with what I sell. If something Audi is wrong,...
...I'm on your side to make it right. If something is not wrong but somebody claims it is, they will hear from me. That's my beef.
Independently of that, I do my best so that my word is law. I either take things literally or not at all. What other way is there and what does it make you if you go that other way?

If I had the answer, I would have offered it to you. I can only guess, and that would not be helpful
FYI, ABS means Audi Brand Specialist, which is a certified salesperson. I am not an Advocate.

ABS Good to know... Don't get me wrong, Adovocates are helpfull but..
they can be fustrating sometimes when they do not have the answers you would expect them to have. I have had very helfull avocates and then I have had some I wanted to pull through the phone. Its a matter of approach on these things sometimes.
