The passenger side moulding on the open-sky sunroof along the edge of the roof popped off..
Which kinda freaked me out as I approached the car from the drivers side and saw the moulding sticking up. I couldn't see the other side of the car and thought I got smashed by a truck backing into the top part of the car. But it totally came off by itself. There was not the slightest damage. Couldn't have been the heat because it has clips. Anyone have this happen? The service dept says they dont have them in stock. I was thinking if it took them awhile to get it maybe I could find the part somewhere. Anyone know of a place online that sells OEM parts like that? Very obscure parts.

This happened to me not to long ago. I had it replaced under warranty, it took less than a week for the part to come in.
