Picked up my new 3.2 tonight, and my left leg still hurts..
While driving home, I hoticed increasing pain on the underside of my left thigh. With my hand, I felt a hard edge under the left seat bottom bolster.
It starts several inches from the front, and feels like the edge of the seat pan. My leg was sore for nearly an hour after parking the car.
Has anyone else found this, and come up with a solution (other than slimming down :-)
I'm thinking I'll have to remove the seat, and the lower covering in that area, to cut this edge back and/or bend it outward. As-is, it's intolerable.

???...
that was so strange that i went out and sat in my 3.2 to try to replicate your pain -- and still can't. the left side of my seat feels exactly like the right side...firm, but soft. i haven't had any leg problems in the first thousand miles.
are you sure you weren't sitting with your leg on top of the bolster?
very strange. can't be right.

An S4 client once reported the same issue. He wasn't overly big, though.
Don't know what he did to remedy it, but after a while, he stopped complaining.
Callouses? ;-)
Where are you located, Waggin?

I'm in Atlanta, GA.. I noticed same problem on premium pkg (I think) seat in showroom.
1. I lowered the front end of the seat a bit. It's better if I keep my leg straight forward, off the dead pedal. It's worse if I pull my foot back
BTW: When I sit this way, the outside edge of my thigh is flush with the outside face of the bolster, so my leg is pressing straignt down on it.
The back of the seat is perfect, and I haven't noticed any isues with the right side.

Re: Got my 3.2 Friday afternoon as well - no seat problems, ...
... other than trying to figure out just what position feels best. Too many options, compared to the TT. I did notice that it's more comfortable without my wallet in my hip pocket. (The wallet is noticeably thinner now after buying the car...)

Re: After driving the Volvo for so long and being so used to the larger seat,
you will probably have to adjust to an entirely new seating position. Compare your seat to other sport seats to make sure that there is not a flaw in your seat (which I seriously doubt). Possibly, you could raise the height of you dead peddle to raise your thigh a little to take off some of the pressure.
