So, I was getting on the loop (I-240) when a 2007 or 2008 Pearl White Lexus IS came zooming pass me. Now you gotta understand, it's been a while since I've opened up the 3. I was already cruising in 6th gear so I downshifted into 5th and punched it...the 3 walked the Lexus down. I got close enough to notice that it was an IS250 before the guy punched it and weaved thru traffic.
So, you think that's the end of the story...you just don't know the '10'. I downshift to 5th gear (I must have been doing 70 to 80 mph at the time) and punched it again. I use my mad driving skills to walk the Lexus down again. At this point, I'm back up to around 80 or 90 mph rolling side-by-side with the Lexus. We both slow it down to around 70 mph. I notice the guy driving has his sidekick with him (so, I've got my golf gear in the trunk).
I speed up to get some separation. I guess the guy in the Lexus didn't get the message because I see him trying to walk ME down. <traffic's clear ahead, Valentine One shows no cops ahead or in back> I floor the 3 and watch the speedo go to a buck forty and climb. The Lexus gets smaller in the rearview mirror and falls away.
Moral of the story....well damn it, there is none
BTW, sorry to see the Daddy go...drop in from time to time and see how the '10' is doing. I should be at Stage III this time next year.
