Is it possible to get out of an S4 lease and into an A3 lease or loan?

...without it being fiscally rediculous? I've currently got an S4 Avant 05, lease payout is $45k..haven't had it that long. I want to get into an A3 3.2 and either lease it or buy it, having my payments be less than $600 a month. I don't mind going to a 72 month loan. For any Audi reps on here, is this at all possible? My ride is in prestine condition. I've had the S4 on Lease trader for 3 months and it was about to go, but now I learn Audi credit doesn't allow lease transfers. They make the original leaser stay as a cosigner on the lease. I want to get out clean.

If there is a Car Max around, see if you can get a bid.
My guess is that unless you put down a healthy chunk up front (not usually a good idea on a lease), you'll be upside down. How much, will determine whether you can get an A3 in your payment range.
This is going to be ticklish to arrange. See if you can find a salesperson that comes highly recommended for your area. Ask your regional forum?

Dealer trade in is about $40k, might could get $41k if I whined enough. Where are these regional forums you are talking about? I do have it on leasetrader. Thus far, that site sucks, at least if you leased through VW credit which I did. VW doesn't allow lease transfers, which means another lease company buys out the lease and charges their rates...which suck. You can lease a new one cheaper than the rate they have quoted me.

36 months will most likely cost you more than $600. Sell your S4 privately, if the mileage isn't too bad, you should be able to get your buyout. Also try swapalease.com.

Click on the arrow to the right, and a list will drop down. In that list among other things, are regional forums. Find the one nearest you.
Yes, leasing used cars usually makes no sense at all. Rates are almost always unattractive.

Audis (or any Euro car for that matter) unfortunately aren't very strong in the used car market. We typically will get Euro brands in at around $4000 behind wholesale book.
