Driving through the little town of Rawtenstall, Lancashire, I saw a ming (or is it kingfisher) blue A3, parked at the side of the road.

Going off the alloys alone, which seemed to be the new 5-spoke design, it looked like the face-lifted car!

The car was parked at angle that prevented me from seeing the rear light cluster, and the front light cluster.

Obviously I'm not 100% sure if it was a new A3, it was certainly a W-reg. So am I seeing things or is it possible?

If it was the new car, those new alloys look top!

The best indicator is a longish, white side blinker

i wish i had a picture, but they have 5 twin spokes, if you know what i mean - nice, but not as nice as competition alloys as standard - i think it is a 90quid option on the A3TS...

They were not our competition 5 spokes, and they were not the twin spoke design (i.e. like golfs).

God, I wish I'd turned round to have a closer look.
