if a moderator can post off topic discussions but label others as OT and send warnings its not really a fair system.
I really don't want to come wit the A3 forum and read about the 135 pricing.. If I cared about 135 pricing I'd check elsewhere not the A3 forum
If posted about what laundry detergent I used but picked it up in my A3 would that be on topic.
Just because a 2 door rwd twin turbo coupe that has nothing to do withan A3 is possily an option to current A3 owners its on topic? Last I checked it wasnt and we have an off topic, and general care forums where that can be discussed.
or if you really cared you'd already be on the mailing lists or BMW forums.

that other people in the same demographic might be using. As such, there are 55 on-topic discussions in the A3 forum of the Volvo C30 and how it compares. 12 with the MazdaSpeed3. 40-something for the Dodge Caliber. 77 with the MINI Cooper. And 137 for the BMW 1 series. My thread is very clearly titled![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
See, even the BMW forums acknowledge the A3:

You get the picture;-)
Knowing the value of owning an A3, and knowing that many A3 forum attendees also place high value on those qualities, I am curious what features in other cars present a compelling argument for folks to defect.......we have all had other cars prior, and will have more cars after. Often owners bring up some excellent points in comparison - points that might be missed by people who do not own the car.
Do we shut our forum borders and wave our little A3 flag, saying no competition exists and that nobody is allowed to compare other cars that might be on the same shopping lists as the A3?

compared to Audis, so not off topic. The return of the 1 series could affect the future of A3 sales and whether A3 will continue to be offered here.

is the closest comparison.. because price is the only thing the bmw has to compare and the base price is still several thousand more.
