Problems installing an aftermarket deck in my 2007 Audi A3
Hello I bought this deck on ebay: http://maxtrons.com/product_detail.asp?id=919
It is a maxtrons MX-1204. My installer was able to get everything working except he couldn't get sound. Apparently the manufacturer has told me that the unit does not support the original external amplifier which I have. However he told me that another customer was able to fix the problem with a "simple wire jump" - but couldn't get the additional details for me.
Is there anyone out there who has heard of this problem and can let me know what the solution is! Thanks!
