Question about steering wheel....
I was going to import and S3 wheel for my TT and was wondering if any of you know if the U.S. A3 airbag would be a direct fit. I'm not worried about it functioning just if it will fit. Thanks guys.

My question is.....
Does a U.S. A3 airbag fit into a Euro S3 wheel?
I am asking because they will not ship an airbag overseas as it is a class I explosive.

I'm 99% sure the A3 airbag will not fit in the s3 flat bottom wheel.....
some S3 steering wheels do not have the flat bottom and I'm not sure about that. I think the TTs airbag actually fits in the S3 since they are both round in the center.

that depends on which S3 steering wheel you're referring to. the U.S. A3 airbag...
will not fit the S3 flat-bottom steering wheel, however, it might fit the 3 spoke non-flat-bottom one. there are actually 2 versions of the S3 steering wheel for the current model (a flat-bottom one & an non-flat-bottom one)...

perhaps you could consider getting the MKII TT flat bottom steering wheel along with the airbag from
the local dealer assuming that you're in the states and that you want the flat bottom steering wheel?
