Does REVO Stage 1 raise the top speed governor? I've emailed this question to REVO but have yet to get a response.

Hi Acie, I'm still waiting for my local tuner to receive the hardware cable from REVO; so I can't answer your question. My local tuner has chipped several 1.8T engines but no 2.0TFSIs, mine will be his first. It seems that the distribution of the REVO hardware/software moves very, very slow. I hope everything goes OK (fingers crossed). I will give the forum an update when I finally get chipped. I will also find out from the tuner whether or not the top speed governor can be safely bypassed.

Yes. The top speed limiter is increased from the factory limited 130mph.
