Default Some people just want to mash the pedal and go, I guess.

I don't get those who think that Quattro is soooo superior and there is no point in buying an Audi if it doesn't have Quattro. Just myopic, IMHO.

The A3 is a great car, even in FWD trim.

Default I believe Startup is working on a Vogtland based suspension with stiffer rears

Perhaps this is part of the reason. I don't know the details of how stiff, etc, but Vogtlands are great COs - and this may be just the added touch that woudl benefit the A3 fwd platform.
