Default RS3 in US/Canada ?

Hi, I'm new here and before posting I haven't found anything on the forum about theses informations. I guess it's because Audi haven't released anything on it yet, but still I'm asking.

does somebody knows if Audi will release the RS3 in Canada or Us ? I have a C36 AMG right now, but I can't take it out for the winter, so I'm looking into this kind of model for a 4 season fun car to drive. Unfortunatly with all my research I haven't found any statements about the American continent importation and that's why I came here to gather informations.

Also, if it's not released here, do you guys know if it's possible for personal importation ?

thanks !

Default Slim Chance

I have been asking about this for quite a while. Even if we could ED these. Doesnt look like it. Shame the vehicle is fast, awd, utilitarian and gets decent mpg.

Seems like a winning combo across the board, yet nothing from Audi.

The production run for this car was extremely small (something like 3700units in total) because at the time even Audi didn't expect the reaction it received. The entire stock was sold out with in a few weeks, so the answer is NO to it reaching North American shores.

You would think this would press them to produce more.

I'm convinced it's Audi's corporate policy to only import their most boring models into the USA.

I've read elsewhere that it isn't going to happen.

Default Test vs 1M

DWTV had a comparison of the BMW 1M and the Audi RS3. The 1M is fast and handles well, but the RS3 is faster, more economical and handles better. Too bad it isn't coming here in the US of A.

US price would be close to $50k, same as 1M. My check is ready ;-)

Still a deal at that price. Race car qualities with utilitarian abilities, and econmical operation.

Wish they would at least allow some kind of ED.
