S-line rear valance color code

I have ordered S-line rear valance for my 2006 Sportback and now thinking
do I have to paint also the middle section which is grey?? Or is it allready as grey as the fillerplate in front?
And if I have to, what is the color code for that greyish color??
In this pic the middle section doesnt seem like to be the same grey as the fillerplate!!
So in what colour have you guys painted it?

when I had my bumper resprayed on my a4 what they said was that since the newer models come with body colored lowers, they have to actually paint the grey on where before it was injection molded plastic in the grey color. So it came as a solid tan colored primer.
Not sure about the A3's but I can imagine it being the same given that the middle is body colored.
They painted it a nice grey color but it was very susceptable to scratching.

Painted? I thought this is just colored plastic like the front grille license plate panel.
But notice he said "colour"... Isn't this panel painted on European models?

the body shop should have the swatches
A good body shop has the bumper swatches for the VAG lines. Just bring it to your body shop and ask them. I got mine painted and it matched 100%, they even gave me the color code which I tossed a while ago.
